Due to an increase in my own professional performance career I have had to make an adjustment in the way my studio operates. The long hours of vocal coaching, rehearsals and performance schedule, I will no longer be providing 30 minute sessions. The hour long sessions will be reserved exclusively for the more seasoned professional and those who demonstrate a high level of focus and dedication to their craft.

A three (3) month weekly commitment contract s required as it takes approximately that long to determine the effects of the instruction and to develop a good working relationship between student and teacher. Based upon strong communication and interpretation of the material, the student should be able to correct most if not all bad habits in that time frame.

A month to month contract applies after the three month agreement has been reached. Cancellation of lessons made with less than 24 hours advance notice are forfeited with no rescheduling/no exceptions. Excused absence/cancellations (those made with 24 hours or more notice) must be made up in the current month, lest it be forfeited. If for some reason the instructor is unable to accommodate the scheduling of a student or misses a lesson, it will be rescheduled or a credit will be provided. On the other hand, lessons missed by students will NOT be rescheduled and payment for that session will be forfeited. The studio provides NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Convenient online credit card and debit payments are accepted in FULL at the beginning of each monthly cycle on the first of the month. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged if not received by the 5th of the month.

Please note, that due to my own performance schedule, I teach Monday through Wednesday ONLY.   If I am in town I will, however, schedule makeup lessons on Thursday and Friday when absolutely necessary and due to my own performance schedule.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

1. Please be courteous of fellow students by being on time for your lesson. I may have a student directly following you and will not be able to make up for lost time.

2. I must be notified 24 hours in advance of a cancellation, otherwise it will be billed as a missed lesson and there is no make up allowed.

3. Excused absences and will be rescheduled, however... NOTE: Excused absences must be made up in the current month or be forfeited.

4. After completion of the minimum three month contract, if you should decide to stop taking lessons, a full month's advance notice is required. If you decide, for an example, to discontinue lessons for the summer, effective June, you would be required to provide notice the first week in May. Failure to do so does not excuse financial responsible for the month of absence.

PAYMENT POLICY

1. On or about the 24th of each month, you will receive an e-mail invoice for the following month of service. Payment may be made by clicking “pay now” at the bottom of the invoice and is due by the 1st of the month.

2. You may also make payment online at http://www.vocalprecision.com. Log in and access the “Billing”/”make online payment” pull down menu at the top of the page. There you can make a one time payment or the recommended recurring
monthly payment. You will also have access to your personal up-to-date calendar, invoice, payment, and lesson history.

3. Payment is considered late after the 5th of the month and a fee of $10.00 will be accessed to your account at that time.

4. Due to my performance and travel schedule, I do not provide lessons on weekends other than make ups and exceptional situations to be discussed as they arise.

5. This bears repeating; after completion of the minimum three month contract, if you should decide to stop taking lessons, a full month's notice is required. If you decide, for an example, to discontinue lessons for the summer, effective June, you would be required to provide notice the first week in May. Failure to provide notice does not excuse financial responsible for the month of absence.

14. There is a one-time, non-refundable, registration fee of $25.00. This fee covers the preparation time spent prior to the first lesson in developing an initial lesson plan and activating the bookkeeping account with Vocal Precision Studio.

Upon your review, if you wish to commence instruction, please fill out the registration form and I will contact you within 24 - 48 hours to arrange a scheduled appointment. Failure to hear from me within that time frame would indicate I am in an out of town engagement. I appreciate your patience. Thank you very much for your interest.
